Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM):
Stainless steel instruments are used to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. Stagnant blood trapped in soft tissues due to injury or other conditions make the overlying muscles stiff and achy. Once the tissue is free of restriction and stagnant blood no longer remains, fresh blood is allowed to flush the tissue and alleviate the associated pain.
